Voluntary, optional, and open membership contributions
At AAWAA, we believe in Women’s standing with Women and in the value of our collective action. We work hard to provide leadership, direction, and advocacy on behalf of our members. It’s work we believe in, but it is work that also needs to be funded.
Membership contributions are entirely voluntary and open: you decide if, when, and how much to give. Every dollar goes directly to advancing women’s liberation and the work of AAWAA. There is no minimum or maximum, and no expectation—just collective support. If you would like to contribute, or ‘pay it forward’ for another Sister, please see our bank details below. Thank you for standing with us.
How to contribute
Membership fees, should you choose to pay, are due by 1 June each year, although we invite you now to consider making a contribution now for the coming year. Outside of this, we welcome contributions at any time that suits you.
If you wish to make a membership contribution or donation, please do so by direct deposit or bank transfer to:
- Account name: Women’s Action Alliance Canberra
- Account number: 1041 6432
- BSB: 062-902
The Women’s Action Alliance Canberra Inc has been delegated by AAWAA to collect and manage funds on behalf of AAWAA. Disbursement of funds is overseen by the AAWAA Executive Committee. Please email us at women@womenadvocacy.net with your name if you wish to be issued with a receipt. Note: We are not a charity, and donations are not tax-deductible; we are, however, a not-for-profit organisation.
Thank you for standing with us. Every act of support, in whatever form, helps build the foundations for women’s liberation and the ongoing work of AAWAA.
